Christmas Lunch
We meet around noon on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Oakley House, Bromley Common for a pre-lunch drink and a semi-formal, waitress-served, 3-course lunch with coffee. Dress code for the lunch is smart jacket or suit, shirt and tie for men and stylish suits or dresses for ladies. The opportunity is taken to discuss items of club business with reports from the committee and activity organisers. This is usually followed by an illustrated talk on a subject of general, or specialist, interest which is given by a Group member or an invited guest speaker.
Whilst the Oakley House lunches are normally for members; we don’t forget the partners – a special Summer lunch; and a Christmas Lunch; is held at which member’s partners are specifically invited to attend.
Apart from the Oakley House lunch the Group also holds “informal” lunches at local hostelries at which guests are welcomed, not only partners – but also prospective members – in an informal setting.
